If Only

If only reality is beautiful

If only all places could be paradise

If only life could be a bed of roses

If only poverty does not exist

If only tears does not flow

If only hunger is just a dream

If only hatred turns into love

If only war is just a state of things

If only greed and corruption cease

but reality has a bitter taste
life's far from getting there
nowhere close, nowhere near

but should not be a close illusion
of a disillusion person

but rather a burning fire
that lightens even the darkest heart
and sparks just a tiny bit of hope
inside a desperate soul

trying to reach out to something
something not quite there

an impossble dream perhaps?
Nah it could be real actually

PS: Just arrive from Simala am quite tired actually but just got inspired to write this one.... I don't know if you can call this poetry but anyway I hope you like it...I was thinking about these thoughts while travelling by bus and seeing things around me, how some part of the city lies in rumble, how there are some people and children lying helpless and hungry, then I compare it to the places I've seen with my eyes. How they're so progressive, so happy, so clean, so rich and just about everything opposite to what my eyes have seen this morning...enjoy do tell me what you think...thanks again

I wish

I wish it was your arms
entwined within my body
I wish it was your scent
that tantalize my senses
I wish it was your breath
that warmth me all over
I wish it was your kiss
that quench my longing
I wish it was you
that completes my existence
but there's no you
just a wind passing by
to remind me of a passing fancy

PS: Done 8-4-08 11:05pm while I was just thinking of things and the idea formulate so here's the outcome wrote this less than 5 minutes hehehe if im inspire its that fast to write a poem...lol I hope you like it and do leave a comment what you think thanks...

Your eyes

I see your smile
then I feel alright

I look in your eyes
and I see something there

Something not quite real
Something I thought I've dream
Something I don't wanna believe
yet I see them clear

It seems you want to tell me
what that something is in your eyes

I've blink once
then twice
and triple times

Your smile grows bigger
and I smile back at you
For now I realize
what your eyes meant to tell

And that something is not unreal
It promises new things to come

You open your arms
and I run fast
feeling home at last

And I look up
just to see the truth
in your beautiful hazel eyes

Into your loving arms

Carry me into your arms
and never let me go
When the world has turn
its back on me
When there seems to be no hope
Don’t ever let me go
for your arms strengthens me
in times I felt weak
and seems I can’t go on
but you were always there
never leaving me
Your arms shelters me
from the coldness and hate
giving me courage and peace
I could never ask for more
than those arms of yours
A love so true and real
that arms that stretch
on the cross so I can be save
from a lifetime of sin and deceit
Each day that pass
I’m grateful for your arms
that gave me a second chance
to live my life again
into your loving arms

PS: I’ve been thinking, meditating, contemplating, wishing, hoping I can write something like this. It’s been a long time coming but finally a poem for my one savior Jesus Christ who loves me more than anyone could ever love me. This a new poem and a first for me to dedicate this one to God. I realize I want to put this poem here cause without God’s guidance I wouldn’t really find the one I am looking for. Hope you like this one and put some comments. Thanks :-)

I'm sitting here thinking about you

My thoughts run wild at times

Longing to touch and hold you

To feel your heart beating with mine

To see our souls dance in rhythm
